Books & Cooks

Book-Inspired STEAM Cooking Club

Cook along (or not!) as we prepare a fun

book-inspired recipe and engage in deeper learning of advanced science, technology, engineering, arts, math, and medicine topics derived from outstanding literary works.

Our fundamental belief is that learning can occur in any setting and without restriction which is strengthened by the inclusion of adults in our club. Join us as we celebrate and share our passion for learning through cooking and cultivating innovative thinking through the synthesis of the literature, STEAM, and the arts with us in the kitchen!

We offer free, online book-inspired STEAM cook-alongs. We firmly believe that age does not constrain learning, as highlighted by the provision of programs for individuals of all ages, in which for both of our clubs we utilize identical books, lessons, and curricula. The only difference is that we cook a dish inspired by the book live during the session (and you are welcome to cook along with us :) ) while engaging in in-depth conversation, exploring ideas further, and enhancing our understanding of the world and beyond through science conjuct with literature. We wish to spread the wealth of knowledge, while destroying ageist stigmas, and education because it is liberating in a changing society.
